A few events to update before August is gonna be gone=)
Chilling with Grace dear at RailMall CoffeeBean on Friday night--Session 2!!! Very reluctant to say this, but JingEr!! How can you miss it AGAIN?? Do you know what you are missing out?? Gosh! This is a totally crazy girls' nightout and you missed it! You MISSED IT! Haha~ go and repent on it!
Ok, as usual, I am always the one with crazy ideas on photo shooting and posing... However... I've also managed to drag Grace into the waters. Good friends are meant to share happiness, woes and embarrassments together! So, I am quite sure she won't mind =P

Two days ago, I had my ACW 401 presentation with Jasmine, Moi & Sharon. Yup, we had a lot of fun presenting the non-physical aspects of 'Children & Place', though the preparation work was hell. Oops~ Anyways, the highlight of the presentation was not the presentation but the lunch at Sakae which was supposed to be a mini celebration, but ended up as a very fruitful gossip session =P So we were bellylicious full, both physically and mentally! Too bad for Sharon, who missed everything, as she needs to rush home! Moi & Jas! If you can read this, let's arrange for more dates ya??!! *Winkz*

Oh ya...I must give credits to my jie-meis who gave me their utmost supports. Thanks girls! Your encouragements really helped! They gave me the power to overcome any fears that came my way, really! Was extremely touched and happy to receive those 'love notes' =P
(and hey~ JingEr, your calligraphy looks so much better than those that were written on that Ludwigy afternoon! Jia you! Practice makes perfect!)

Last Friday, we met up with Andrew to assist him in the choosing of a birthday present for Wah. Finally, he decided on a necklace from SK. Don't say 'Wow' k...cos I also feel very 'Wow' myself =P Oh man...What kind of English is this...keke. And of cos, how can I miss my fave activity--photo whoring! As you can guess it, they were all taken during the golden dinner time =D Let's take a peek!!

Yesterday, I had dinner with my secondary school's bestie, POH LILIN! Though it was a belated birthday dinner since we are both very busy with schoolwork, we still enjoyed it all the same! Hey lady, this post is especially done for U! Cheers~

Samantha just want to scream out loud!
"I am totally overwhelmed by the amount of work and readings!!"
You must be wondering why I am still here. Well~ one must learn to relax and take things easy right? All work and no play will certainly make Samantha a dull girl!

Last Saturday, we watched 'Meet Dave'. An extremely funny and entertaining movie. Good for distressing. I laughed all the way from the start till the end of the movie! For some whom may find it stupid, come'on! Dig out your sense of humour and appreciate the show =)

On Friday, it was a girls' night-out with Grace! Girls, chilling out at CoffeeBean MUST become our habit! heh~ that's provided if we have the time la... JingEr, I don't care~ you must come next time! Here are the pictures *Winkz*

I've changed my blogskin! Find the dates a wee bit too big -_- So what do you think of my new blogskin?? better? Hopefully.
Last night, Lilin and me attended our Final Theory lessons at BBDC and her fren joined us too. Before that, we had our dinner at Plaza Mac. Here are the pictures! =)
Ok. Enough of blogging! Shall get ready to watch the NDP Parade while enjoying my dinner =) But before that, let me complain a bit first. One of our tutor assigned us a homework, that is to watch the NDP parade and to answer some reflective questions after that. Can you imagine watching the celebration as a form of homework? Gosh~ Can't I even enjoy this once a year celebration properly & thoroughly? =(
Anyway, just want to wish Singapore a very Happy 43rd Birthday! I have always been proud to be part of you! =D *Muack*

Today, I attended my first AAE 347-Research Methods tutorial. As can be guessed from the module title, it's all about research. May be dry but am rather sure that this should be able to help me in future advancement...such as obtaining a Master?? Heh...the ambitious side of me =)
Well~ one of the plus points in going for the lessons, I must say, is that Dr Willy is rather funny and fatherly. =)
Anyway, just before the tutorial ends, Dr Willy asked us to create an acoustic poem using the word "Research" and this is what I came up with:

R esearch is a quest for new knowledge.

E ventually, it will lead to old age and white hair.

S till, researchers persevere loyally to prove their own hypothesis.

E xcited and passionate about their work.

A bsolutely oblivious of how people around them think =P

R eality may sound painful & discouraging, however, they...

C ouldn't care less since they are...

H aving fun & enjoying themselves!!

Hopefully no researchers will come to read this post =P Heh~
Gotta go for mai dinner!

On the first day of school...

Please do not be mistaken by the smiles that were plastered on our faces in the first photo. We were just happy to see each other, not because it's the start of school -_-

Today, I wanna blog about the marvellous movie that I watched on Saturday. Ta-da!
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor!
For whatever reasons, I really enjoyed the show. Maybe it's because of Jet Li...but then again, it's a bit saddening as his face was camouflaged half the time. I must say, his sacrifice was big! *Sob* But not bigger than his General Ming...whose face appeared in maybe 10% of the movie only...haha~ (Piss...Luckily he's not my idol =P)
Anyway, this action-packed thriller talks about how the o'connell father and son unearth the mummy of Qin Shi Huang -- who was cursed by a witch centuries ago. Simply love the storyline and the cast =) Bravo!!
I know it's a bit early to say this...But I can't wait for the next sequel to be screened!
Today, I visited my grandparents. As usual, we had a warm family gathering with cosy discussions, jostling around with my cousins, and a sumptious dinner!
Took photos of my new baby cousin too =) She is a Sing-Viet mix, 2 months old and Velda is her name. I am proud to say that this unique name is given to her by yours truly! Heh heh~ Shall post her photos soon... Soon after my scrapbooking =P Can't wait to see her? I can understand =D Till then!

Was printing notes and time-table from my school portal.
Suddenly reality hit me...that school is starting REALLY soOoOn!
The only consolation I get, is that Foundation Office has been rather kind to me this semester and gave me a time-table with not much 'lobangs'. I don't think I can still survive 7-hr breaks like 2 sems ago...it must be due to old age =P

Gosh~ Simply can't believe that I had already rested for 3 months...! Rested very well and did quite a lot of things.
Lemme recall...

I went to Hong Kong, completed 2 part time jobs, watched a few sets of dramas, 'revived' my blog, signed up with BBDC & passed my BT evaluation, rebonded my hair & v
isited Mummy Basheera & baby

Oh dear...did not do very much actually...oOps~ Ok...Shall kick off my laziness and get ready for school...hopefully!
Anyway, since school is starting so soon and I may get too busy in the near future, I've decided to blog one more time today!

Just received an email from my dear Lilin. It shows lots of cutie pictures of Japanese food...Oishi! Just wanna share those pictures... I am sure you won't bear to sink your teeth into them! Believe your eyes, they are real food... Aren't the chefs artistic??

A wonderful shopping trip!! After about 2hrs plus of shopping at Bugis Village, both of us were holding 2 bags of shoppings each! Our 'catch' includes a jumper, 2 dresses, a t-shirt and 2 watches! Yippee~ An absolutely fantastic fun spree! The photos show the 2 siao zar-bos having their desserts after shopping; in a newly-opened Japanese coffee house, Shokudo, in Parco. The desserts are SO yummie and beautiful...nothing could describe how both of us felt...our hearts literally 'melted' when the waiter placed them on our table. Our 'sweet tooth-s' were activated and before we knew it, the food was gone... ;(
Luckily the camera was fast enough to capture them...Muahaha....

CAUTION! Do not drool when looking at the pics. It doesn't matter at all whether you r looking at the food or the ladies~ No salivating pls!

Looking forward to another crazy shopping trip!! *Hint Hint* =P
